Karen is a Tokyo based singer who was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She has always loved music, singing her first solo in church when she was four. She studied music at the City of Belfast School of Music, and voice with Margaret Parkinson, Joan Houston, and Chris Levens. She is currently studying contemporary singing at The Voice College.
Karen is currently working as music director for TIP Youth, was most recently seen performing in Disturbance the Musical, and directing "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" for Tokyo International Players in May 2019. She is also working as vocal director on Tokyo Theater for Children's newest show "The Weirdest Kid I Know".
