Karen is a Tokyo based singer who was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She has always loved music, singing her first solo in church when she was four. She studied music at the City of Belfast School of Music, and voice with Margaret Parkinson, Joan Houston, and Chris Levens. She has an Advanced Professional Diploma in Teaching Contemporary Singing.
Karen works as music director for TIP Youth, was most recently seen performing in Disturbance the Musical, and is currently directing for Tokyo Theatre for Children and for Tokyo International Players 2021 - 2022 season.
