Since the beginning of this year, I have been immersed in TIP's upcoming mainstage production of Beauty and the Beast by Laurence Boswell, with music by Mick Sands, set to premiere in May 2024.This marks the largest project I've tackled since the pandemic, presenting the rewarding yet challenging task of rebuilding our volunteer base after the long hiatus.
I was drawn to the play because of the ensemble nature of the script. The idea of "chorus creates dawn" was both amusing and challenging to me, and watching the cast come up with creative ideas in the rehearsal room was a lot of fun.
